Jacob Malka was born in Casablanca, Morocco, 1941.
Malka immigrated to Israel in 1956 as part of Youth Aliyah. painting and drawing are practices that have accompanied him since his childhood. He received his education in Paris at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts, by a scholarship he received from the head of the Aliya Youth Department, Moshe Kol. He later studied with Marcel Janco and Avigdor Steimatzky. In 1971, he studied graphic techniques in New York. His works are in various collections in Israel, the United States, England, France and Germany.
After a period of work in graphics, Malka returned to paint and conduct exhibitions. His new works reflect a change in perception and a view of his surroundings in various fields.
